Inspired by a cheesy magazine ad that suggested that you add fiber to everything in your fridge and change the first letter in its name to F, I created this higher fiber version of my favorite margarita. Since Splenda with Fiber packets are not one of recipezaar's approved ingredients, substitute those for the standard Splenda packets listed, and you will add 4 grams of fiber to the nutrition for your cocktail! Yaay!!
Ingredients:
1 fluid ounce tequila
1 fluid ounce triple sec
4 splenda quick packs
3 tablespoons fresh lime juice (1 1/2 limes)
ice
seltzer water
coarse sea salt
Directions:
1. 1. Squeeze three lime halves into a glass, add the Splenda, tequila, and triple sec. Mix thoroughly until the Splenda completely dissolves.
2. 2. Salt the rim of a 10-ounce glass, and fill 3/4 with ice.
3. 3. Pour the mixture over the ice, and top off with fizz. Stir gently. Serve!
