Healthy, yet flavorful greens. Ingredients:
1 bunch swiss chard |
1 bunch red chard |
1/2 c baking soda |
1/4 c salt |
2 t butter |
1 bunch scallions, chopped |
1 med onion, chopped |
1/2 of a clove of garlic, pressed |
2 t worchestershire sauce |
1 t sugar |
Directions:
1. Remove the big stems from the chard. 2. Chop and wash chard in baking soda and salt water; rinse and drain. 3. Saute scallions, onions and garlic in butter until the onion is translucent. 4. Add Chard to scallion mixture; cover and cook with low heat until tender. 5. Do not add water. 6. Add worchestershire sauce and sugar. |
