Greens with Ham and Pears |

Ingredients:
1/2 cup plain nonfat yogurt |
2 tablespoons brown sugar |
2 tablespoons sherry vinegar |
1/4 teaspoon apple pie spice |
dash of salt |
4 cups torn bibb lettuce |
1 cup torn curly endive |
1 cup loosely packed fresh watercress |
6 (1-ounce) slices lean turkey ham, cut into thin strips |
2 medium-size ripe pears (about 3/4 pound), cored and thinly sliced |
3 tablespoons finely chopped walnuts, toasted |
swiss cheese toast |
Directions:
1. Combine first 5 ingredients in a small bowl, stirring well. Cover and chill 1 hour. 2. Arrange lettuce, endive, and watercress evenly on 4 plates. Arrange turkey ham and pear slices over greens. Drizzle 3 tablespoons yogurt mixture over each, and sprinkle with walnuts. Serve with Swiss Cheese Toast. |
