I decided to make greens one night and wanted to play around with the taste and this is what I came up with.
Ingredients:
1 lb greens, rinsed with stems cut off (your choice i like collard best)
1 tablespoon butter
1 cup water
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1 chicken bouillon cube
1 small yellow onion, diced
1 garlic clove, minced
1 teaspoon tabasco sauce (the green one is excellent)
1 teaspoon bacon bits
salt
pepper
Directions:
1. Put all ingrediants into a medium pot.
2. Simmer on medium/low heat until tender, 2-3 hours.
