This is my Mother's recipe. I love it!
Ingredients:
2 bags greens
ham or pork jowl
bacon (for seasoning)
Directions:
1. Clean and break up greens.
2. Start in salt water, boil about 20 or 30 mins.
3. Pour off broth.
4. Start Greens in fresh salt water.
5. Add meat and a dash of pepper flakes if you want.
6. Cook until tender.
7. About 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
