Ingredients:
2 cups whipping cream |
1/2 cup sugar |
4 egg yolks |
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour |
1 tablespoon vanilla extract |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 cup vanilla ice cream |
Directions:
1. Combine whipping cream and sugar in a medium saucepan; stir well. Cook over medium heat just until mixture comes to a boil (180°). Remove from heat; set aside. 2. Combine egg yolks, flour, vanilla, and salt in a medium mixing bowl; beat well. Stir in one - third of hot whipping cream mixture; add to remaining hot whipping cream mixture, stirring well. 3. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until slightly thickened. Remove from heat; add vanilla ice cream, and stir until ice cream melts. Serve sauce warm or chilled over pudding. |
