This is a very tasty pie and may be used as the main course or a side dish. Ingredients:
3 cups green tomatoes, sliced |
3 eggs, beaten |
1/2 cup milk |
1/2 cup cottage cheese |
1/2 teaspoon oregano, dried |
Directions:
1. Brush bottom and sides of 9-inch pie pan with oil. 2. Arrange tomato slices in pie pan. 3. In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, cottage cheese and oregano. 4. Slowly pour mixture over tomatoes. 5. Bake at 375ºF for about 40 minutes. |
