Based on a recipe from Esther Blum's book, Eat, Drink, and Be Gorgeous, a nutritionist's guide to living well while living it up. She adds, Green tea is also loaded with polyphenols and antioxidants, improving the nutritional content of your alcoholic bevvie. This is certainly a starting point for those trying to add green tea to their diet! This is one of my all-time favorite vodka martinis! :) Ingredients:
1 ounce green tea, chilled |
2 ounces grey goose citrus-infused vodka |
3/4 ounce grand marnier |
1 teaspoon fresh lime juice |
lime slice (to garnish) |
Directions:
1. Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice. 2. Pour in green tea, vodka, and Grand Marnier and shake vigorously for 20 seconds; this will enable tiny ice crystals to form in the vodka. 3. Set aside. 4. Pour the lime juice into a martini glass. 5. Swish the lime juice around the glass and discard the remnants. 6. Strain the shaker contents into the prepared martini glass and garnish with lime slices. |
