Adapted from Gourmet Magazine. I haven't tried it yet so let me know how it is... Ingredients:
3 cups water |
2 1/2 tablespoons good quality green tea |
3/4 cup sugar, plus |
2 tablespoons sugar |
Directions:
1. Bring water to boil, add leaves, and remove from heat. 2. Steep for 5 minutes. 3. Add sugar and stir until dissolved. 4. Strain through a fine sieve. 5. Chill tea, covered, until cold and freeze in an ice cream maker. |
