1 cup whole milk |
3/4 cup sugar |
1 pinch salt |
2 cups heavy cream |
4 teaspoons green tea powder |
6 egg yolks |
Directions:
1. warm milk, sugar and salt. 2. pour cream into a large bowl and whisk in matcha. 3. in a separate bowl whisk egg yolks together and slowly whisk in warm milk mixture. 4. return egg/milk to saucepan and heat stirring constantly until the mixture coats the back of a spoon. 5. pour into cream (you can strain the custard if you want) and whisk until frothy. 6. chill in refrigerator until cold and freeze according to manufactures instructions. |
