Green Tea Granita

Cooking Light NOVEMBER 2004. Note freezing time.
Ingredients:
3 cups boiling water
4 regular-sized green tea bags
1 piece peeled fresh ginger (2-inch)
1/2 cup honey
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
Directions:
1. Pour boiling water over tea bags and ginger in a medium bowl. Cover and let stand 5 minutes. Add honey and lemon juice; stir to combine.
2. Strain tea mixture through a sieve into a bowl; discard solids. Cool completely.
3. Pour mixture into an 8-inch square baking dish. Cover and freeze 8 hours or until firm.
4. Remove tea mixture from freezer; scrape entire mixture with a fork until fluffy.
