Recipe from First Magazine 7/4/05 in an article regarding the green tea diet. Cooking time is actuallly freezing time. Ingredients:
5 green tea bags |
3 cups boiling water |
1 cup sugar |
1 1/2 tablespoons lemon zest |
1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice |
Directions:
1. Brew tea bags in boiling water for 5 minutes. 2. Stir in sugar, zest and juice. 3. Pour into a metal 9x9 metal pan and freeze until hard. 4. Spoon into blender or food processor and pulse 10-20 seconds to break up. Scoop into bowl and serve. |
