It used Green Tea powder (Japanese Mocha ), and the cake actually looked greenish . Ingredients:
250 g cake flour |
1 1/2 tablespoons green tea powder |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
100 g butter |
130 g sugar |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
2 eggs |
120 g milk |
Directions:
1. cool the butter under room temperature for a while, then mix the butter with sugar. 2. Mix in eggs, one at a time. 3. Sift in BP, Cake Flour, and Salt, mix well. 4. Dissolve the Green Tea Powder in the milk, then add in the batter. 5. Bake the cake with 180C (about 370F) temperature, for about 30-35 minutes. |
