1 cup sake |
1 large shallot, thinly sliced |
2 tablespoons green tea leaves |
2 tablespoons mirin (rice wine) |
1/2 cup heavy cream |
1/2 cup butter, cut into pieces |
Directions:
1. Combine sake and next 4 ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat. 2. Cook 5 to 6 minutes or until reduced by half. Remove from heat. Whisk in butter. Strain before serving. |
