I eat green smoothies most days as my breakfast/lunch. I vary them according to what we have, but this has been my recent base recipe. Ingredients:
1 cup 2% low-fat milk |
2 cups spinach |
2 large carrots, roughly chopped |
1 zucchini, roughly chopped |
1/2 cup frozen blueberries |
1/2 cup frozen mango chunks |
1/2 cup frozen strawberries |
2 tablespoons sugar |
1 tablespoon vanilla |
Directions:
1. Place ingredients in the order listed in a vitamix blender. 2. Blend until smooth. 3. You can use other blenders, but your smoothie will not come out as smooth. |
