A healthy way to get your greens Ingredients:
2 cups water |
4 oz kale, washed |
4 oz spinach, fresh |
4 strawberries, frozen |
1 medium banana |
1 apple, cored and sliced |
Directions:
1. Fill a blender (a BlendTec or VitaMix work best) with two cups of water. 2. Add kale and spinach to blender jar. Cover and run the blender on a whole juice cycle. 3. Add the fruit and stevia (a natural sweetener found in health food stores) and run the whole juice cycle again. 4. Optional: change the type and amount of greens and fruits to suit your personal taste. Chard, collard greens, berries and pears are good alternates. |
