A side dish from Cooking a la Heart - Delicious Heart Healthy Recipes from the Mankato Heart Health Program, 1988. Ingredients:
1 egg white |
1 cup skim milk |
1/2 cup finely chopped fresh parsley |
1 garlic clove, minced |
1 small onion, minced |
2 cups cooked rice |
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese |
1/8 teaspoon curry powder |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Beat egg white. 2. Add milk, parsley, garlic, onion, rice, cheese, curry powder and salt. 3. Stir well. 4. Place in a non-stick sprayed 7 inch ring mold and bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes. |
