For a quick flavor booster to pasta, add Green Kale Breadcrumbs. Pulse a couple of ounces of a baguette in the food processor and stir in chopped to kale to make plain pasta delicious. Ingredients:
1 cup chopped kale |
2 teaspoons olive oil |
1 garlic clove |
1 tablespoon olive oil |
2 ounces torn baguette |
Directions:
1. Combine kale, 2 teaspoons olive oil, and garlic clove in a food processor; pulse until minced. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Pulse torn baguette in a food processor for coarse crumbs. Add breadcrumbs, and sauté 1 1/2 minutes. Stir in kale mixture; sauté 30 seconds. |
