A simple salad my family eats about once a week. Pulled from the Tea Time at the Masters Cookbook. Ingredients:
1 peeled, very ripe tomato sliced fine and chopped small |
1 large spoonfull of oil |
1/2 tbsp red wine vinegar |
1/2 tsp accent seasoning |
1/2 tsp oregano |
4 green onion tops chopped |
parmesan cheese |
(optional toasted peices of pita bread) |
Directions:
1. Stir all ingredients together. 2. Add the oregano,green onions and lettece last. 3. Toss. 4. Sprinkle the salad with parmasan cheese. 5. Double the recipe if using an entire head of lettuce. |
