From a German recipe group. I have no idea why the name but it is sure tasty and green! Ingredients:
1 container creme fraiche ( 7 1/2 0z ) |
a little olive oil for blending |
1 bunch fresh basil |
3 garlic cloves |
300 g creamy style feta cheese |
salt and pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. Puree the basil with some olive oil, add the feta cheese and stir in the creme fraiche for a smooth mixture. 2. Stir in the minced garlic with salt and pepper to taste 3. Use this as a dip or spread for anything, bread, crackers, vegetables 4. etc. |
