Green Chilies Quiche Appetizer |

This is a recipe that my husband & I got from his Mom. He kept asking me to make it and I didn't have the recipe and couldn't find one here or on the internet. I've since found a similar one here (#41493) but it's different enough in the ingredients and instructions that I felt it needed to be added. Ingredients:
1 lb sharp cheddar cheese, sliced |
3 eggs, beaten |
2 tablespoons milk |
2 (4 ounce) cans of chopped green chilies, undrained |
Directions:
1. Preheat over to 350 degrees. 2. Spread green chilies on the bottom of a glass baking dish (11 3/4 x 7 1/2). 3. Layer cheese slices over green chilies. You should have enough to completely cover the bottom of the dish plus extra to stagger for a partial 2nd layer. 4. Mix eggs & milk and pour over cheese. 5. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. 6. Serve with Triscuit crackers while still warm. |
