Serve this peppy cream dip with vegetable sticks , or crispy fried seafood or cold shrimp............... courtesy of fire and spice ............... Ingredients:
2- 3 large green chilies |
2- scallions ( green and white parts) |
1 1/2 - tablespoons minced basil or cilantro leaves |
1/3 -teaspoon salt |
1- teaspoon ground coriander |
1/3- teaspoon cumin or caraway seeds lightly crushed |
1 to 1 1/2 - teaspoon freshly ground black pepper |
1- cup soft cream cheese |
1/4- cup sour cream |
1 to 1 1/2 - tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice |
Directions:
1. Very finely mince the chilies and scallions and place in a bowl . 2. Add the remaining ingredients , except the lime juice and beat until smooth and creamy. 3. Add the lime juice to the tasteā¦.. 4. Makes one 3/4 to 2 cups 5. 4-6 servings |
