Best hamburgers-from a chef in Sante Fe. This is fantastic-not at all hot, but delicious! Ingredients:
1 lb ground round |
1/2 onion, sliced |
6 buns, warmed |
6 slices cheese |
mayonnaise |
6 slices tomatoes |
6 leaves lettuce |
8 ounces whole green chilies |
Directions:
1. Cook ground round made into patties with seasoning you like (salt, pepper, garlic powder, etc.). 2. Assemble with warm buns, sliced cheese, sliced onions, sliced tomatoes, lettuce, and layer on 1-2-green chilies on top before you put on top bun-don’t forget mayo on buns. |
