Ingredients:
1 lb lean pork, cubed |
1 lb lean beef, cubed |
1 tablespoon vegetable oil |
1 large onion, chopped |
1 green pepper, chopped |
1 cup chopped celery |
3 cloves garlic, minced |
8 hot green chilies, chopped |
2 large potatoes, diced |
3 tomatoes, chopped |
1 can beef broth |
1 cup water |
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano |
Directions:
1. Heat the oil in a large non-stick frying pan, cook the garlic for a few minutes and then add the pork and beef and cook until browned. 2. Place the garlic meat mixture in a large pot and add the remaining ingredients. 3. Bring to a boil then cover and simmer on a low heat for an hour or so until very tender (meat falling apart). |
