This recipe makes a quiche-type snack with a Mexican twist. Ingredients:
2 (4 ounce) cans green chilies |
4 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated |
6 eggs, beaten |
2 tablespoons prepared mustard |
2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce |
hot sauce |
1/2 teaspoon paprika |
salt |
pepper |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Remove seeds from chiles and lay flat on bottom of a greased 9 x 13 pan. 3. Mix cheese, eggs and mustard, Worcestershire sauce and a dash of hot sauce. 4. Add salt and pepper if desired. 5. Pour over chiles and sprinkle with paprika. 6. Bake for 25 minutes. Cut into bite sized squares. |
