Green Beans With Whole Grain Mustard |

Adapted from one of our favourite cookbook authors - Joie Warner. Ingredients:
1 lb green beans, trimmed on one side |
1 tablespoon butter |
1 tablespoon whole grain mustard |
salt |
fresh ground black pepper |
Directions:
1. Steam green beans until crisp-tender and still bright green. 2. Remove the green beans & place under cold running water to stop the cooking process. 3. Melt butter in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Stir in the whole grain mustard. 4. Add the green beans & toss until evenly coated. 5. Season with salt & pepper. 6. Cook until heated through. |
