This is our favorite way to make green beans Ingredients:
1/2 lb green beans, trimmed |
1 teaspoon olive oil |
1 shallot, peeled and thinly sliced |
1 garlic clove, pressed |
Directions:
1. Boil green beans for 4-5 minutes until just tender but still crisp. 2. Heat a non-stick fry pan over medium heat and add oil. 3. Add the shallot and saute for a minute. 4. Drain the green beans and add to the shallots. 5. Saute, stirring until the shallots are soft and the green beans are tender. 6. Add the garlic and saute for 30 seconds. |
