I got this recipe from a magazine, and use it all the time. It’s so quick, easy, and flavorful. Even my kids eat fresh green beans when I cook them like this. Ingredients:
1 lb fresh green beans |
1/2 cup sliced almonds |
1 tablespoon vegetable oil |
1 teaspoon honey |
Directions:
1. Clean green beans and remove ends. 2. Steam until crispy-tender-about 8-10 minutes. 3. Mix together vegetable oil and honey. 4. Toss green beans until coated with honey mixture and almonds. |
