Green Beans With Garlic-Herb Butter |

1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed |
1/4 cup butter |
1 small onion, minced |
1 celery rib, minced |
1 1/2 teaspoons minced garlic |
1/4 teaspoon rosemary, chopped |
salt, to taste |
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley |
Directions:
1. Bring salted water to a boil in a large saucepan. 2. Add beans, cover, and cook 10-15 minutes or until crisp-tender. 3. Drain beans and plunge into ice water to stop the cooking process; drain again. 4. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium-high heat. 5. Add onion and celery and saute 5 minutes. 6. Add garlic and saute 2 minutes more. 7. Stir in beans, rosemary, salt, and parsley. 8. Saute another 4 minutes or until heated through. |
