Green Beans With Filberts |

This is so delicious!!! Very good served with grilled steak - Ingredients:
8 cups green beans, ends trimmed |
1 tablespoon olive oil |
1/2 cup filberts, chopped |
1 tablespoon lemon zest |
2 tablespoons lemon juice |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 tablespoon thyme, leaves only |
Directions:
1. In a large pot of boiling water, cook green beans until tender, about 5 minutes. Drain and set aside. 2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add nuts and cook, stirring until golden, 1-3 minutes. Add beans and the remaining ingredients, tossing well to coat. Serve warm or at room temperature. |
