I was asked to cater a Turkish menu and this is one of the delights I served and it was a huge hit. Read more . Yummy and unique way to eat fresh green beans. We love this and hope you do as well. Ingredients:
1 pound green beans trimmed and cut in medium sized chunks |
1 small white onion sliced |
1 tablespoon butter |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
2 eggs lightly beaten |
1teaspoon crushed red pepper |
Directions:
1. Boil beans with hot water for 20 minutes. 2. Saute onion with salt and butter in a large pan for 4 minutes. 3. Add drained beans in it then cook for 10 minutes over medium heat. 4. Stir occasionally. 5. Pour in eggs and stir gently. 6. When eggs are cooked turn heat off. 7. Place on serving platter and sprinkle crushed pepper all over. 8. Serve immediately. |
