Green Beans With Citrus Nuts |

A great side dish with a quick cooking time. Ingredients:
1 lb green beans, trimmed |
2 teaspoons butter |
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil |
1 garlic clove, minced |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley |
1/2 teaspoon grated orange rind |
2 tablespoons chopped blanched hazelnuts |
Directions:
1. Bring a large saucepan of water to a boil, add beans, and cook for 5 minutes. 2. Place beans into ice water, and drain. 3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, and add butter, and oil. 4. Swirl until butter melts. 5. Remove garlic, and set aside. 6. Add beans, and sprinkle with salt, and pepper, and cook 2 minutes, tossing frequently. 7. Combine hazelnuts, parsley, orange rind, and garlic clove, and sprinkle over beans. |
