Awesome way to eat green beans. Very tasty. Enjoy Ingredients:
2 pounds fresh green beans |
2/3 cup cooked chestnuts |
1/2 cup butter |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper |
Directions:
1. Steam about one-half pound shelled chestnuts forty-five minutes or use canned chestnuts. 2. Chop roughly then sauté chestnuts in butter. 3. Cook beans until just tender. 4. Toss beans and chestnuts together and season with salt and pepper. |
