Ingredients:
3 pound(s) green beans fresh |
3 sweet onions cut in half and thinly sliced |
1/3 cup(s) butter |
1/3 cup(s) brown sugar firmly packed |
Directions:
1. Cook green beans in boiling water to cover 15 minutes; drain and chill overnight, if desired. 2. In a Dutch oven, cook onion over medium heat 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown, stirring often. Reduce heat to medium; stir in butter and brown sugar. Add grean beans; cook 5 minutes or until thoroughly heated. |
