This simple side dish is a classic crowd-pleaser. Toss cooked green beans with sauteed shallots, lemon juice, salt and pepper, and top iwth crumbled bacon. I have not made these yet, but they sounded yummy, including here for safe keeping. Recipe from Ingredients:

3 bacon, slices |
1/2 cup chopped shallot |
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper |

1. Cook green beans in boiling water for 5 minutes or until crisp-tender. Drain and plunge beans into ice water; drain. 2. Cook bacon in a Dutch oven over medium heat until crisp. Cook 5 minutes or until thoroughly heated, stirring often. Remove from heat. Sprinkle baon over bean mixture; toss. 3. Enjoy! :). |
