Ingredients:
3 (10-ounce) packages frozen cut green beans or 4 cups fresh green beans, cooked |
1 cup blanched almonds, toasted |
1/4 cup butter or margarine |
1/2 teaspoon dried whole oregano |
Directions:
1. Cook green beans according to package directions; drain. 2. Sauté almonds in butter until lightly browned. Add almonds and oregano to cooked green beans, and toss well. 3. Note: 1/2 cup sliced almonds, toasted, may be substituted for blanched almonds. |
