This is a different way to cook green beans that has a great taste! Ingredients:
2 lbs. fresh green beans |
2 tblesp. lemon juice |
1 1/2 tsp. mustard |
1/2 cup olive oil |
1/2 tsp. sugar |
salt and pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. Mix the lemon juice, mustard, sugar, salt and pepper in a measuring cup or bowl. 2. Add the oil and blend thoroughly. Set aside. 3. Remove ends from beans. 4. Either steam or cook in boiling water for 5 minutes or desired tenderness. 5. Drain, if boiled. 6. Place in serving dish. 7. Drizzle with vinaigrette and serve. |
