I like to make this side dish for potlucks, because it's easy to make and is always popular.—Karen Lewis, Pleasant Grove, Iowa Ingredients:
2 packages (16 ounces each) frozen french-style green beans, thawed |
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted |
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cheddar cheese soup, undiluted |
3/4 cup chopped onion |
3/4 cup bacon bits |
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese |
1 jar (4-1/2 ounces) sliced mushrooms, drained |
1 jar (4 ounces) diced pimientos, drained |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. In a 3- or 4-qt. slow cooker, combine all ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or until beans are tender. Yield: 10 servings. |
