Green Beans Carrots And Mushrooms

Quick and Easy vegetable side dish. This is a really pretty side dish! It goes with just about everything, and you can add your favorite herbs or seasonings to it!
Ingredients:
1 lb. fresh or frozen green beans, cut into 1-inch pieces
4 carrots, cut into batons
1/4 c. butter or margarine
2 onions, halved and sliced
1 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 t. salt
1/2 t. cajun seasoning (or seasoned salt)
1 t. garlic powder
1/2 t. pepper
Directions:
1. Place green beans and carrots in a large pot that has 1 inch of boiling water in it. Cover and cook until crisp-tender. Drain.
2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté onions and mushrooms until almost tender. Reduce heat to simmer, cover, and simmer 3 minutes. Stir in green beans, carrots, salt, cajun seasoningt, garlic powdert, and pepper. Cover, and cook for 5 minutes over medium heat.
3. Taste and adjust seasonings.
