Another great, simple recipe found on Ingles Markets webpage. The fresh ingredients make this a winner every time. Ingredients:
1 lb fresh green beans |
2 tomatoes, diced |
1 garlic clove, chopped |
1/4 cup onion, chopped |
1 tablespoon olive oil |
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Place beans in a large pot, covering with water. Boil for 5-7 minutes. Drain. 2. Heat oil in skillet. Add onion and garlic, sauteeing until garlic turns golden. 3. Add tomatoes and beans and cook 2-3 minutes, tossing to coat beans with other ingredients. Transfer to serving bowl, tossing with vinegar and seasoning with salt and pepper to tase. 4. Enjoy. |
