Green Beans And Mushrooms |

Goes perfectly with steak or burger, french fries or mashed potatoes and gets kids to eat their veggies. Ingredients:
1 bag of frozen green beans |
8 oz mushrooms or a can of mushrooms |
2cloves of garlic (more if you like garlic) |
1 tbsp butter or substitute 1 tbsp of olive oil |
15 sprigs of parsley, chopped |
salt, pepper. |
optional: festive look: decorate with a handful of toasted pine nuts |
Directions:
1. Place green beans in bowl with 4 Tbsp water 2. Add sliced garlic, pinch of salt 3. Cook in microwave on high for 4 min. or boil in water on stove 4. Meanwhile, in frying pan, over medium heat place butter or olive oil. 5. Add fresh sliced button mushrooms or open can 6. Add salt, pepper and parsley 7. cook mushrooms until wilted 8. Drain green beans and add then to mushrooms 9. Optional: garlic lovers, this is the time to add 1 more glove of finely chopped garlic or use your garlic press 10. Mix vegetables, season to taste 11. Cook 1 minute |
