A very simple and delicious way to serve green beans. Ingredients:
2 tablespoons oil |
1 onion, finely minced |
1 clove garlic, minced |
1 lb fresh green beans or 1 (15 ounce) can green beans, drained |
salt and pepper |
3 tablespoons slivered almonds |
3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese |
Directions:
1. Heat oil in skillet. 2. Add onion and garlic and saute until golden brown. 3. Add green beans and cook slowly until hot. 4. Season with salt and pepper. 5. Stir in almonds. 6. Sprinkle with cheese just before serving. |
