1 green onion, sliced |
2 garlic cloves, chopped |
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar |
6 tablespoons olive oil |
6 dried figs, chopped |
1/4 cup slivered almonds, toasted |
fresh ground pepper |

Drop the crispy tender beans into the ice water to stop the cooking. Pour cooled beans into colander to drain. 3. In a large bowl combine green onion, garlic, vinegar and olive oil. 4. Cut cool dried beans into 1/2 inch lengths; toss with dressing and figs. 5. Cover and chill for 30 minutes to 60 minutes. 6. Serve topped with toasted almonds. |
