This recipe was from our old church cookbook. It is simple but satisfying. Ingredients:
3 quarts green beans |
1 medium potato |
2 -3 tablespoons dill or 3 sprigs fresh dill |
1 small onion |
salt and pepper |
water, enough to cover potatoes and beans |
bacon or ham, pieces |
Directions:
1. Add all ingredients to an 8 quart pan and simmer until potatoes are tender. |
