Ingredients:
3/4 cup(s) cheddar cheese, shredded |
4 cup(s) chicken, cooked & cubed |
1 can(s) cream of broccoli soup |
1 can(s) cream of mushroom soup |
2/3 cup(s) french-fried onions |
1.75 cup(s) green beans |
2/3 cup(s) green pepper, chopped |
6 ounce(s) long grain & wild rice mix |
1 (4 oz) can(s) mushrooms, drained |
1 envelope(s) onion soup mix |
2/3 cup(s) onion, chopped |
Directions:
1. preheat oven to 350, grease two 1.5 quart casseroles 2. prepare wild rice according to pkg directions - stir in chicken, beans, soups, mushrooms, onion, green pepper and soup mix - combine well 3. spoon mixture evenly into two casseroles - sprinkle with cheese 4. cover and freeze one casserole for up to three months - cover and bake second casserole for 25-30 minutes - uncover and sprinkle with french-fried onions - bake 5 minutes longer 5. To use frozen casserole: completely thaw in fridge - remove from fridge 30 minutes before baking - cover and bake 60-65 minutes at 350 - uncover and sprinkle with french-fried onions - bake five minutes longer |
