To me canned green beans are boring, but I could eat these all day. Ingredients:
2 cans whole green beans |
1/2 to 3/4 cup brown sugar |
1 1/2 sticks of butter |
bacon |
garlic powder |
salt & pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. Take 1/2 strip of bacon and wrap around 8-9 whole green beans. Secure with toothpick. Place bundle in a 9 x 13 inch pan. Continue untill all beans are used. 2. Melt butter in saucepan. Add brown sugar, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Pour over beans. 3. Bake covered at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake 15 minutes longer. |
