A delicious chutney to accompany your favorite curry dish. From our church cookbook. Ingredients:
5 lbs green apples (chopped) |
6 medium onions (chopped fine) |
1 lb seedless raisin |
3 cups brown sugar |
1 pint cider vinegar |
2 tablespoons salt |
2 teaspoons cinnamon |
1 teaspoon ginger |
2 teaspoons cayenne pepper |
1 teaspoon clove |
Directions:
1. Melt sugar in vinegar in keele. 2. Add remaining ingredients and cook over medium heat until chutney is thick and clear. 3. Seal in hot, sterilized jars. |
