Ingredients:
1 box(es) near east touble wheat salad dry |
1 cup(s) tomatoe fresh, chopped |
2 tablespoon(s) lemon fresh |
1 tablespoon(s) olive oil |
1 cup(s) feta cheese crumbled |
1 cup(s) cucumber peeled, chopped |
1/4 cup(s) basil fresh, chopped |
Directions:
1. In large bowl combine wheat and contents of spice sack. Stir in 1 cup boiling water. Cover; let stand 30 minutes in refrigerator. Stir in 1 cup chopped fresh tomatoe, 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice, 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1 cup feta cheese, 1 cup fresh chopped cucumber, 1/4 cup fresh chopped basil. Mix together. Cover; chill 1 hour or overnight. Toss well before serving on a bed of romaine lettuce and lemon wedges. |
