manicotti stuffed and topped with greek meatsauce and topped with melted feta. Ingredients:
1 tablespoon olive oil |
1 small minced onion |
1 (16 ounce) can diced tomatoes |
1 (26 ounce) jar pasta sauce |
1 (12 ounce) box manicotti noodles |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1 teaspoon garlic powder, i use more |
1/2 teaspoon allspice |
3/4 cup crumbled feta |
Directions:
1. preheat oven to 350 2. prepare pasta as directed. 3. place olive oil in saucepan and saute onions add ground beef and brown. 4. add diced tomatoes, pasta sauce salt,pepper,garlic and allspice reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes. 5. stuff manicotti shells with prepared meat mixture,pour remaining sauce on top of pasta. 6. top with crumbled feta 7. bake for 25 minutes or untill feta has melted. |
