This marinade can be used for any fish or shrimp. Ingredients:
6 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil |
3 tablespoons garlic, minced |
2 teaspoons fresh thyme, chopped |
1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped |
3 tablespoons greek oregano, chopped |
1 lemon, zested |
4 tablespoons lemon juice |
1/4 cup ouzo |
salt and pepper, to taste |
Directions:
1. Heat the olive oil in small skillet over medium heat. 2. Add garlic and saute for 2-3 minutes to infuse the garlic flavor in the oil. 3. Remove from heat; cool. 4. Combine the garlic mixture and all other ingredients in a small bowl. 5. Marinate fish or shrimp in a zip lock bag for 3-4 hours. |
